Exide, SRNE solar unveil new renewable energy solutions in Pakistan

May 27, 2025 (MLN): In a strategic move for Pakistan’s renewable energy landscape, Exide Pakistan and SRNE Solar Technology Co. Ltd. solidified their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant milestone in advancing green energy solutions in the country.

The MoU signing stood as the highlight of a grand launch event held at The Nishat Hotel, Lahore, where the two companies also introduced their latest range of Hybrid Inverters and Lithium-Ion Battery systems to the Pakistani market.

The event began with a captivating opener video that welcomed attendees, followed by a formal address that reflected on Exide’s longstanding leadership in the energy sector.

The mood was set for a memorable occasion celebrating innovation, collaboration, and the future of clean energy.

Following the welcome, the Chief Guest was introduced, after which SRNE Solar presented a powerful corporate video highlighting the company's global footprint and focus on technological innovation.

Mr. Chen Yong, Founder and Chairman of SRNE Solar, delivered a keynote speech emphasizing Pakistan’s strategic importance in SRNE’s global roadmap and the potential for growth in the local renewable energy market.

Exide Pakistan shared a project video that documented the collaborative journey between the two companies, showcasing the groundwork and vision behind the partnership.

This was followed by an impactful address from Mr. Altaf Hashwani, Director of Exide Pakistan Ltd., who reiterated the company's commitment to delivering sustainable, high-quality energy solutions tailored for local needs.

Detailed technical presentations were then delivered by experts from both Exide and SRNE, offering insights into the advanced features, energy efficiency, and reliability of the newly launched Hybrid Inverters and Lithium-Ion Batteries.

These solutions are positioned to cater to Pakistan’s evolving energy requirements, especially in residential and commercial sectors.

The event also featured an award ceremony recognizing excellence and contributions to the renewable energy ecosystem.

A special award was presented by the Chairman of Exide to the CEO of SRNE, followed by recognition awards for top-performing dealers from across Pakistan.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a grand dinner, celebrating not only the successful launch of new energy solutions but also a promising future built on international collaboration and sustainable innovation.
