Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan decides to keep USD at 124.5

The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan has decided not to let the USD cross 124.50 in the open Market.

ECAP asked all companies not to sell above than this rate.

Zafar Paracha Gen Secretary has urged the general public not buy dollars without necessity.

He said "the interbank rate is settled so no need to buy and hold USD unnecessarily as it will further strengthen the Dollar".

Further, he urged Pakistanis to send their remittance through formal channels as Transfer of funds through legal channels is the best way to improve foreign reserves of the country.
