Eurozone inflation falls to 1.4% in January: Eurostat

February 1, 2019: Inflation in the Eurozone continued to fall in January, dropping to 1.4 percent from 1.6 percent in December, according to a preliminary estimate by the official agency Eurostat.
The ongoing fall had been expected by analysts polled by the Factset financial services firm.
