European stocks steady at open

Europe's main stock markets steadied at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down fractionally at 7,247.38 points.
In the Eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 climbed 0.1 percent to 12,403.63 points and the Paris CAC 40 was virtually flat at 5,257.43 compared with the close on Monday.
