European stocks sag at open

April 30, 2019: European stock markets weakened in opening trade on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.1 percent at 7,437.24 points.

In the Eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 index shed 0.2 percent to 5,570.43 points and Frankfurt's DAX 30 declined 0.1 percent to stand at 12,313.97, compared with Monday's closing levels.
