European stock markets fall further at open

European stock markets fell further in initial trading on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index dropping 0.5 percent to 7,134.51 points.

In the Eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 shed 0.3 percent to 12,224.8 points and the Paris CAC 40 lost 0.4 percent to 5,129.65 compared with the closing levels on Thursday – APP/AFP
