European stock markets climb at open

Aug 21, 2020: European stock markets rose at the start of trading on Friday following modest gains in Tokyo.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbed 0.1 percent to 6,015.68 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index added 0.5 percent to 12,891.80 points and the Paris CAC 40 was up 0.4 percent to 4,928.50 points.
