Searle swings to Rs536m profit, declares Rs1/share dividend
The Searle Company Limited (PSX: SEARL) swung to a consolidated net profit of Rs535.74m for the year ended June 30, 2026, reversing a loss of Rs1.37bn (restated) recorded in the corresponding period last year a complete earnings turnaround driven by the elimination of a substantial discontinued operations loss and strong core business growth.

PRL enters upgrade agreement with govt to modernize refinery
Pakistan Refinery Limited (PSX: PRL) has signed an Upgrade Agreement with the Government of Pakistan through Inter State Gas Systems (Private) Limited (ISGS), under the Pakistan Oil Refining Policy for Upgrade of Existing/Brownfield Refineries, 2023, as amended in August 2026. The agreement was signed on September 24, 2026, following approval from the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet.
