Environmental responsibility key to future: Musadik Malik

April 18, 2025 (MLN): The urgent integration of environmental responsibility into business strategies is vital for Pakistan’s sustainable future, said Minister for Climate Change Dr. Musadik Malik, while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad.

He highlighted the need for companies to invest in green innovation and align their operations with both national and international climate commitments.

Emphasizing strategic, long-term planning, Dr. Malik called for bold leadership to confront the country’s intensifying environmental and climate-related challenges, according to the press release.

“Our future depends not only on strong policy and governance but also on the decisive action of the corporate sector,” he stated.

He pointed out that building climate resilience and ensuring sustainability are key to securing economic stability, protecting public health, and maintaining national security.

Dr. Malik called for a collective movement, led by the courage and innovation of the business community, to drive Pakistan toward a greener and more resilient economy.

“Together, we can not only mitigate climate risks but also unlock new opportunities for sustainable growth,” he concluded.
