EMCO industries certifies 132kV and 220kV Surge Arrestors' product performance

May 06, 2020 (MLN): EMCO Industries has successfully certified the design and product performance of its 132kV and 220kV Surge Arrestor / Lightning Arrestor product through Type Testing at an independent accredited High Voltage Laboratory in conformance with international IEC standards, as well as in conformance with the latest NTDC Type Policy.
In a notification issued by EMCO to PSX, it was disclosed that primary clients for Surge Arrestor are NTDC, DISCOs, EPC contractors, large private industrial clients, and extensive export markets.
The Surge Arrestors are used to protect the High Voltage system from over-voltage transients caused by External (Lightning) or Internal (Switching) events.
