Economic optimism rises in Pakistan: FinMin

June 02, 2025 (MLN): The latest IPSOS survey has been described as a strong affirmation of Pakistan’s improving economic outlook, with perceptions of economic strength reaching their highest point since August 2019.

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb noted that consumer confidence in major purchases and investments has doubled over the past year, indicating a positive shift in economic behavior, as per the press release.

He highlighted a notable improvement in public sentiment and reaffirmed the government's commitment to maintaining macroeconomic stability, advancing structural reforms, and ensuring that economic growth translates into real progress for all citizens.
