ECC to discuss strategy for increasing overseas employment for Pakistani workers

February 19, 2019 (MLN): A meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet will be held today i.e. Tuesday, with the Finance Minister Asad Umar as the Chairman.

According to an official announcement, the committee shall discuss the following agendas during its meeting

Strategy for increasing overseas employment and remuneration for Pakistani workers
New criteria for issuance of petroleum products marketing license
Labelling requirements for import of edible products
Decision of the meeting of the ECC concerning status of NAB cases regarding Pakistan Steel Mills
Demand and supply of Urea and DAP fertilizers
Report for the ECC regarding containers and vehicles stuck-up at ports (customs auctions)
