ECC to consider natural gas sale pricing for FY20

February 4, 2020 (MLN): A meeting of Economic Coordination Committee of the cabinet is scheduled to take place today, i.e. February 4, 2020, at Cabinet Division, in which the committee will consider the proposal from Petroleum Division for an increase in natural gas price from Feb 01, 2020.

Apart from this, the following important agenda points will be discussed in today’s meeting.

• Transfer of funds to Ministry of Defence as a technical supplementary grant for the maintenance of Cessna Aircraft

• Exemption of eight per cent (8%) minimum income tax for National Telecommunication Corporation

• Creation of Digital Media Wing in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting

• Request for the conversion of Loan into grant in the name of gov’t of AJ & K being beneficiary of the loan

• Amendment in SRO 192(1)2019 extending exemption from the regulatory duty to Export Oriented Units (EOUs)

• Technical Supplementary Grant for payment of compensation to the Victims of suicidal attack at District Courts F-8. Islamabad on 03.03.2014 on the Directions of Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan
