ECC okays TSG of Rs844.389mn for SC reconstruction

January 26, 2023 (MLN): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet on Wednesday approved a Technical Supplementary Grant (TSG) of Rs844.389 million for repair and maintenance of the Supreme Court of Pakistan building, judges’ residences, rest houses, and sub-offices in various cities.

As per the Finance Division statement, another TSG of Rs3 billion was granted to Cabinet Division for development expenditure under SDGs Achievement Programme (SAP).

Furthermore, the committee also approved financial aid of Rs10mn for the legal heirs of the deceased who died during the recent suicide blast at I-10 Markaz, and Rs20mn for the legal heirs of the deceased who died during the recent long march of a political party.

The committee also considered a summary of the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and coordination and approved an increase in MRPs of one drug as per the recommendation of the drug pricing committee.

Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar presided over the said meeting.
