ECC likely to approve revision of home remittances schemes

August 28, 2024 (MLN): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet, in its meeting which is scheduled to be held on August 29, 2024, at 1400 hours, will likely approve the Finance Ministry's proposal for revising the Home Remittances Schemes.

Additionally, the committee will discuss the Chakdara-Timergara 39 km (Section 1) road project (N-45), a summary of the communications division.

Another summary from the same division, regarding the execution of the framework agreement between China and Pakistan on the realignment of the KKH (Thakot-Raikot) under CPEC, is also likely to receive ECC approval.

The Minister for Finance and Revenue, Muhammad Aurangzeb will chair the meeting of the ECC along with other government officials.
