ECC approves continuation of PM’s relief package for FY25

August 16, 2024 (MLN): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) approved yesterday the Industries & Production Division's proposal to continue the Prime Minister’s Relief Package for FY 2024-25 through the Utility Stores Corporation, with revised prices and subsidies.

Furthermore, the Cabinet Committee approved the request of the Ministry of Industries & Production to declare the Warehousing and Logistic Sector as an industry.

The meeting was chaired by Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb along with other government officials.

These included Minister for Industries & Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan, the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Federal Secretaries, and other senior officials from relevant ministries.
