Early Trade: KSE-100 index up by 557

June 14, 2021(MLN): Pakistan Stock Exchange opened higher Monday as KSE-100 Index has notched 557 points in early trade and is currently trading at 48,861.79 [09:44 am] as the pro-growth budget helped drive investors’ sentiments.

The market reacted positively to the Federal budget FY22 as govt has reduced Capital Gain Tax (CGT) by 2.5 percent. Moreover, tax exemptions and duty concessions were granted to several sectors which are positive for the markets.
