Dost Steel unable to resume operations this year

January 07, 2025 (MLN): Dost Steels Limited (PSX: DSL) has been unable to resume its commercial operations this year due to insufficient working capital.

The aforementioned information was revealed in DSL's Progress Report, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

Despite ongoing efforts, financial constraints have hindered the company's ability to restart full-scale production, the report added.

DSL is actively working to resolve financial challenges and is currently in discussions with the bank syndicate to settle outstanding debts, it further noted.

"This step is essential to restoring operations and ensuring the company's future growth", the report reads.
