DGKC successfully completes 2nd phase of installation of CFPP

September 10, 2021 (MLN): D.G. Khan Cement (DGKC) has successfully completed the second phase installation and commissioning of 30MW Captive Coal-Fired Power Plant (CFPP) with Air Cooled Condenser (ACC) technology, at Hub site, Distt. Lasbela Baluchistan.

The plant is based on a high temperature and pressure reheat thermal system, which will generally improve the overall efficiency of the captive power plant. With the completion of this phase, captive power generation of this project has reached 40MW, DGKC in its notice sent to PSX stated.
