Dawood Lawrencepur mulls divestment from Tenaga Generasi

October 31, 2023 (MLN): Dawood Lawrencepur Limited (PSX: DLL) has revealed its potential intention to divest its equity stake in Tenaga Generasi Limited, according to the company's filing on the local stock exchange today.

It is worth noting that Tenaga Generasi Limited owns a 49.5 MW wind power project located in Sindh.

Moreover, the process is still in its initial phase and is subject to all internal, regulatory, and third-party approvals.

DLL is engaged in the business of trading and marketing renewable energy solutions, mainly solar, to commercial and industrial consumers, along with the legacy textile business.

At the time of writing, the company's share is being traded at Rs245, up by 5.67 rupees or 2.37% compared to its previous close.
