D.G. Khan Cement completes installation of Pakistan’s largest cement plant at Hub, Baluchistan

According to a bourse filing, D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited today announced that it “has completed the installation of Pakistan’s largest cement plant at Hub, Baluchistan.”

Khablid Chohan, Company Secretary at D.G. Khan Cement, informed the exchange that, “The largest vertical cement grinding mill with cope drive has started trial operations together with cement silos and packing plant.” The notice also read that the company has achieved successful commissioning of raw material crushing, transportation and storage department.

Regarding the production and market availability of the product, the notice mentioned that “the cement produced in the trial run us being dispatched to customers.”

However, the company is expected to announce commercial production “in due course of time”.
