Consortium submits fresh PAI to acquire 68.89% in Engro Powergen

December 03, 2024 (MLN): The consortium, involving prominent textile giants, has submitted a fresh Public Announcement of Intention (PAI) to acquire approximately 68.89% of the shareholding in Engro Powergen Qadirpur Limited (PSX: EPQL).

The acquirers include Liberty Power Holding (Private) Limited, Soorty Enterprises (Private) Limited, and Procon Engineering (Private) Limited.

To recall, the previous PAI submitted by the acquirers expired on November 24, 2024, and was subsequently withdrawn.

As a result, Arif Habib Limited (AHL), the Manager of the Offer, has issued a fresh public offer to EPQL in its notice to the PSX today.
