Commerce Ministry rebuts news item on Pakistan-Turkey FTA

ISLAMABAD, May 13: The Ministry of Commerce Monday rebutted a news items appearing in different sections of the press on the day regarding Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Pakistan and Turkey, terming it 'contrary to the facts.'
According to a statement, the recent meeting held on May 10, 2019 had discussed Strategic Economic Framework. During the sitting, no technical talks were held on FTA; however, the two sides had renewed their intent to continue further discussions on the subject for its early conclusion.
