Citi Pharma to expand globally under Vision 2030

December 16, 2024 (MLN): Citi Pharma (PSX: CPHL), under Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Aamir Shahzad, is advancing medicines accessibility across Pakistan through direct marketing, offering affordable solutions like insulin and biological products, in line with their 2030 Vision.

The vision, "From Care to Cure," set to launch on January 1, 2025, aims to expand Citi Pharma's reach globally, bringing affordable and innovative healthcare solutions to international markets, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

Citi Pharma's product portfolio will include general formulations such as antibiotics for bacterial infections, cardiovascular medicines, anti-diabetic drugs, and analgesics and antipyretics for pain and fever management.

Additionally, the portfolio will feature respiratory treatments for asthma and other chronic conditions, providing comprehensive healthcare solutions.

For oncology, Citi Pharma is determined to make cancer treatment affordable and accessible, providing hope to those suffering from this life threatening disease.

This shift marks a transition from the primary focus on servicing hospitals and institutions as well as API business to directly providing high-quality pharmaceutical products to the public.

This strategic move highlights the commitment to improving access to affordable and quality healthcare solutions for everyone in Pakistan.

To lead this initiative, the management welcomed Mr. Aamir Shahzad as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Mr. Shahzad join Citi Pharma with the target of making Citi Pharma, the leading pharmaceutical company in Pakistan by 2030.
