MLN 06, March 2018 - China Investment Corporation is currently planning to invest $ 1 billion in Pakistan; the talks for which are set to begin tomorrow, according to source

A delegation from China Investment Corporation (CIC), China’s biggest sovereign fund, is expected to meet Pakistani officials in Islamabad tomorrow to enter into an investment agreement.

China Investment Corporation (CIC) is a sovereign wealth fund responsible for managing some parts of China's foreign exchange reserves.

CIC was established in 2007 with approximately US$200 billion of assets under management. At the end of 2015, the CIC had over US$810 billion in assets under management.
