China turns out to be a top investor in Pakistan

China has turned out to be the biggest investor in Pakistan during the first nine months of fiscal year 2018. During the above mentioned period, Chain has cumulatively invested a sum of $1.34 billion in Pakistan.
Furthermore, Foreign Direct Investment during the nine months reached a sum worth $2.094 billion, data from State Bank revealed.
According to the SBP data, total Foreign Direct Investment was up by more than 4.4 percent.
Total Net foreign Investment in the country $4.451 billion, up 69 percent of same period last year.
Major contribution to the foreign investment came as a result of selling of Euro and Sukuk bonds.
