China opening Khunjerab border from April 1

March 29, 2022 (MLN): China is finally opening the Khunjerab Border from April 1, 2022, for trade activities, Abdul Razak Dawood, Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce and Investment said on Tuesday.

Making an announcement on his Twitter, he said that it will not only help in the utilization of the second phase of the Pakistan-China Free Trade Agreement (FTA) but it will also support the local commerce on both sides of the border especially the fruit and vegetable exporters from the north side of Pakistan.

“I urge the exporters to take advantage of this opportunity and increase their exports to China,” he noted.
