CCoP to mull over MPCL's divestment matter

December 31, 2021 (MLN): The Cabinet Committee on Privatization (CCoP) is all set to deliberate upon the divestment of the government's Shares in Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL), in its meeting to be held today under the Chairmanship of Shaukat Tarin, Minister of Finance and Revenue.

Besides, the CCoP would also discuss the revision of capital structure-debt recapitalization and refinancing/replacement of government excess equity and PDFL loan through commercial borrowing of NPPMCL.

As per the details, matters relating to the privatization of SME Bank Limited, Guddu Power Plant & Nandipur Power Plant are also included in the agenda of the aforesaid meeting.
