CCoP approves privatization of PIA

August 07, 2023 (MLN): The Cabinet Committee on Privatization (CCoP) has chosen to incorporate Pakistan International Airlines Co. Ltd (PIACL) into the list of ongoing privatization projects, as per the amended legislation passed by the Parliament.

As per the press release issued today, the Privatisation Division presented a summary on a detailed update regarding privatization of Roosevelt Hotel.

The CCoP after discussion gave concurrence to the Privatization Commission for hiring of Financial Adviser to process/structure transaction of Roosevelt Hotel, New York, an asset of PIA Investment Limited (PIA-IL).
