Breakthrough in rice exports as Russia allows import of Pakistan's rice from today

June 11, 2021 (MLN): A major breakthrough in rice exports has been achieved as Russia has allowed the import of Pakistan’s rice from 11 June 2021, said Abdul Razzak Dawood.

In a tweet, the Adviser to PM for Commerce and Investment said, “Initially four firms have been allowed & more will be allowed after virtual inspection by Russian Authorities which would be coordinated by Department of Plant Protection (DPP).”

He commended the hard work done by the Ministry of Commerce ( MoC), National Food Ministry, DPP and MoC’s Trade & Investment Counselor at Moscow.
