BML's board approves financial budget for 2024

December 21, 2023 (MLN): The Board of Directors (BoD) of Bank Makramah Limited (PSX: BML) has approved the annual budget for the bank for the financial year ending on December 31, 2024, as revealed in the bank's filing on the local bourse today.

Additionally, the board has decided to appoint Abdulla Nasser Abdulla Hussain Lootah as the Chairman of the Board of the Bank in place of Waseem Mehdi Syed with immediate effect.

To recall, the name of Summit Bank Limited was changed to Bank Makramah Limited effective from November 7, 2023.

At the time of writing, the entity’s script is being traded at RsRs2.1, up by 4 paisa or 1.94% on the day.
