Bank of Khyber earns ICAP's TOoP status to train future CAs

October 09, 2024 (MLN): The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) has formally granted the Bank of Khyber (BoK) the status of Training Organization Outside Practice (TOoP).

As an ICAP-approved TOoP, BoK will offer training opportunities for CA trainee students across its Head Office and branches.

This initiative equips trainees with practical skills and real-world insights by working alongside seasoned professionals in the banking and financial sectors, complementing their academic knowledge.

The TOoP certificate was presented to Irfan Awan, Managing Director/CEO (A) & CFO, BoK, by Zeeshan Ijaz, Vice President, ICAP, in a small ceremony held at the BoK Head Office in Peshawar.

The event was attended by representatives from both organizations, including Saifullah, Council Member and Chairman Public Sector Committee, ICAP; Rahat Gul, Head Taxation Department, BoK; and Muhammad Shaheer Kamran, ACA, Unit Head Accounting & Financial Reporting, BoK.
