Bank Alfalah and Engro Polymer sign MoU to provide Supply Chain Solutions to latter's buyers

December 21, 2018: Bank Alfalah Limited (BAFL) and Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited (EPCL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to design and execute customized Supply Chain Finance solutions, primarily for EPCL’s investors, a report by Dispatch News Desk revealed on Friday.

The program intends to introduce strategic value for corporate partners in strengthening supply chain networks to EPCL buyers for fulfilling their working capital needs, as well as enhancing their profits besides generating steady product ordering for Engro Polymer.

Group Head Corporate, Investment Banking & International Business from Bank Alfalah Limited Mr. Bilal Asghar, and CFO from Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited Mr. Syed Abbas Raza signed the MoU during a ceremony held in Karachi.

Head, Transaction Banking Mr. Shehzad Ilyas, Regional Corporate Head South Mr. Farrukh Aslam Chughtai, Head of Marketing Mr. Abdul Qayoom Shaikh, Head of Treasury Mr. Muhammad Bilal Ahmed and IFC Mr. Akber Zaman Khan were also present at the occasion.
