Bahria Town seeks license from NEPRA for power supply projects in Lahore

August 02, 2024 (MLN): The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority has received an application from Bahria Town (Private) Limited for the grant of an Electric Power Supplier of the Last Resort license for the projects in Bahria Town, Mohianwal, Lahore, and Bahria Orchards, Raiwind Road, Lahore.

According to a notice issued by NEPRA, Brig Bakhtiyawar Lal Hussain (Retd), the representative of Bahria Town has certified documents in support.

Moreover, these documents along with the application are submitted in conformity with the provisions of the NEPRA Licensing (Application, Modification, Extension and Cancellation) Procedure Regulations, 2021, as well as the Eligibility Criteria (Electric Power Supplier Licences) Rules, 2023.

The representative undertakes to abide by the terms and provisions of the aforementioned regulations and rules.

Additionally, he confirms that the information provided in the attached documents-in-support is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and no material omission has been made.
