BAHL Preview: All seems well!

August 14, 2020 (MLN): Bank Al Habib Limited is scheduled to announce its financial results for the half-year ended June 30, 2020, on Monday i.e. August 17.

Based on projections from various research houses, the market expects BAHL to post a net income of around Rs. 7.5 billion, as compared to the profits of Rs. 4.4 billion earned in the same period of last year.

According to AKD Research, this expectation of growth in earnings comes at the back of higher capital gains and increased deposits emanating from aggressive branch expansion.

The report also suggests a decline in cost to income ratio due to substantial growth in the net interest income of the bank during the period under review.
