Authorities collect 26,762 MTs of fertilizer in ongoing crackdown

April 08, 2024 (MLN): The crackdown against hoarders continues nationwide, with relevant authorities collecting approximately 26,762 metric tons of fertilizer to facilitate the general public.
Additionally, 2,420 metric tons of flour, 53,954 metric tons of ghee, and 9,340 metric tons of sugar have been recovered during this crackdown.
During the last week of the previous month, 168 metric tons of fertilizer, 0.544 metric tons of flour, 869 metric tons of ghee and 205 metric tons of sugar were recovered from Punjab.
During this period, relevant agencies completed 38 successful anti-hoarding operations.
