Auction Result: SBP Raises Rs.74.85 billion through Sale of GOP Ijara Sukuk

January 14, 2021 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) conducted an auction on Thursday in which it picked up Rs.74.85 billion through the sale of 5 year variable and fixed rental rate GOP Ijara Sukuk.

Combined auction target was Rs.50 billion.

The SBP Received bids worth Rs.89.511 billion for the Variable Rate Ijara Sukuk with a price range of 100.2121 - 99.1784 out of which it accepted Rs.66.607billion at a cut off price of 100.06.

Bids worth Rs.8.750 billion were received for the fixed rental rate Ijara sukuk with a fixed rental range 9.25% to 9.52 % out of which the SBP accepted Rs.8.250 billion at a cut off rental rate of 9.45%.

Settlement date for the successful bids is Jan 20, 2021.
