Auction Result: SBP Raises Rs.69.482 billion through Sale of GOP Ijara Sukuk

October 15, 2020 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) conducted an auction on Thursday in which it sold 5 year variable rental rate GOP Ijara Sukuk worth Rs.69.482 billion.

Bids for the Fixed Rental Rate Sukuk were rejected.

Combined auction target was Rs.50 billion.

The SBP Received bids worth Rs.108.477 billion for the Variable Rate Ijara Sukuk with a price range of 100.4727 to 96.2092 out of which it accepted Rs.69.482 billion at a cut off price of 99.6.

Bids worth Rs.7.10 billion were received for the fixed rental rate Ijara sukuk with a price range 98.5214 to 97.00 which the SBP rejected.

Settlement date for the successful bids is Oct 21, 2020.
