Attock Refinery resumes operations

March 21, 2024 (MLN): Attock Refinery Limited (PSX: ATRL) has started up its refinery operations safely as per schedule after successful completion of the integrated refinery turnaround, the latest notice issued by the company on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) showed today.

Downstream units are being normalized and products will be available as per committed volumes for the month, it said.

To note, the company undertook a refinery turnaround for essential maintenance purposes starting February 18, 2024.

It had earlier had said that the shutdown would lead to a reduction in the Refinery's throughput to around 40%.

Attock Refinery is principally engaged in the refining of crude oil. The company is subsidiary of The Attock Oil Company Limited, England and its ultimate parent is Coral Holding Limited (a private limited company incorporated in Malta).
