Attock Refinery further scales down its operation to 29%

March 31, 2020 (MLN): Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) has informed Exchange via a notification that the Refinery has to further reduce its production and it is currently operating at about 29% of its capacity as the product uplifting has not improved.

Further, the company clarified if the product uplifting is not improved then the refinery would be completely shut down within a week which has also been informed to the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) accordingly.

To recall, Attock refinery cut run-rate by 50% due to the low demand for petroleum products.

Moreover, the company will keep updating any further appropriate action regarding the situation.
