Attock Cement expands capacity by 1.275m tons with new production line

April 16, 2024 (MLN): Attock Cement Pakistan Limited (PSX: ACPL) has successfully completed the construction and installation work for an additional production line capable of producing 1,275,000 tons of cement per annum at its manufacturing site in Hub, Baluchistan.

The new line is now operational and production has commenced with effect from April 16, 2024.

A notice issued by the company to the domestic equity market revealed this development today.

It is crucial to note that ACPL is a subsidiary of Pharaon Investment Group Limited Holding S.A.L, Lebanon and its main business activity is the manufacturing and sale of cement.

At the time of writing, the company scrip is being traded at Rs97, down by 15 paisa compared to the last close despite favorable development.
