Arif Habib withdraws PAI for acquisition of Engro Powergen Qadirpur shares

April 04, 2025 (MLN): Arif Habib Limited (PSX: AHL) issued a withdrawal of the Public Announcement of Intention (PAI) in its capacity as the manager to the offer (MTO) intended to acquire 68.89% of the ordinary shares of Engro Powergen Qadirpur Limited from Engro Energy Limited.

The withdrawal was made on behalf of Liberty Power Holding (Private) Limited, Soorty Enterprises (Private) Limited, and Procon Engineering (Private) Limited (the acquirers), the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

The withdrawal notice has been published in today's editions of Business Recorder and Nawa-i-Waqt. Copies of the newspaper publications are enclosed herewith.
