Arif Habib extends deadline for offer on 68.89% stake in Engro Powergen

August 23, 2024 (MLN): Arif Habib Limited has extended the deadline by 90 days for making a Public Announcement of the Offer (PAO) on behalf of Liberty Power Holding (Private), Soorty Enterprises (Private), and Procon Engineering (Private) regarding their acquisition of 68.89% of Engro Powergen Qadirpur Limited.

AHL said that the acquirer has taken all reasonable steps towards completing the necessary regulatory procedures to submit the PAO.

However, some of these regulatory procedures are yet to be completed.

The original deadline for submitting the PAO was August 26, 2024. With the extension, the new deadline for making the PAO regarding the transaction is now November 24, 2024.
