ADB gives $1.3 billion to Pakistan, the single largest disbursement in one day

December 9, 2019 (MLN): The Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Hammad Azhar said ADB is a valuable contributor in Pak’s development path. The govt. of Pak and ADB have scaled up their partner today with the signing of $1billion special policy-based loan for macroeconomic stability and $300 million energy sector and financial sector reforms.

In a tweet, the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Hammad Azhar said this is the single largest disbursement in one day to any country by ADB.

He said further in a tweet that this disbursement reflects the confidence that multilateral hold in the govt's reform agenda and the progress achieved towards economic stabilization.
