ABHI acquires 2.74mn shares in Universal Network Systems

May 19, 2023 (MLN): ABHI Private Limited has acquired an equity stake comprising 2.74 million shares in Universal Network Systems Limited (PSX: GEMUNSL), the company's filing on the local bourse revealed.

To recall, on March 29, 2023, the company informed the shareholders pertaining to ABHI's intention to acquire an equity stake in order to make a way for Pakistan's largest platform to tap into fintech & logistics deployment in the retail distribution of products across Pakistan.

The share purchase agreement between the shareholders of UNSL and ABHI had been signed to complete the formalities for the finalization of this transaction.
