Urea prices expected to rise Rs75–100

April 14, 2026 (MLN): Fertilizer prices in Pakistan are expected to increase in the near term as producers look to pass on rising fuel costs, according to JS Research channel checks.

Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) and Engro Fertilizers Limited (EFERT) are likely to increase urea prices by Rs75–100 per bag.

Currently, urea prices stand at Rs4,286 per bag for FFC and Rs4,436 per bag for EFERT.

According to JS Research, the expected price hike is primarily driven by higher fuel costs, which are being passed through into final product pricing by manufacturers.

The update was shared by Waqas Ghani, Head of Equity Research at JS, who highlighted that the adjustment shows the ongoing impact of elevated fuel prices on the fertilizer industry.
