July 30, 2026 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has granted approval for the Prospectus of Tasdeeq Information Services Limited's Initial Public Offering (IPO), paving the way for the company to raise capital through the issuance of 150,000,000 ordinary shares via the Book Building method, according to a notice issued Thursday.
Per the Prospectus, seventy-five percent of the issue size, 112,500,000 shares, will be offered through Book Building at a floor price of Rs1.90 per share, with the price band capped at approximately 57.89% above floor, translating to a ceiling of Rs3.00 per share.
At these bounds, the book-built portion could raise anywhere between Rs213.75 million and Rs337.5 million, depending on where the final strike price is discovered.
Registration and bidding timeline
The PSX notice laid out a compressed one-week schedule for Eligible Participants:
- Registration with PSX: July 31 – August 6, 2026, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (extended to 3:00 PM specifically on August 6, per PO Regulations, since registration must remain open through the final bidding day)
- Expression of Interest to NCCPL: July 31 – August 6, 2026, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Bidding Dates: August 5 – 6, 2026, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
First-time participants who are Clearing Members of the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) must register with PSX by emailing bookbuilding@psx.com.pk with participant name, contact person, email, and mobile number. Already-registered participants do not need to re-register.
Separately, all Eligible Participants must submit an expression of interest directly to NCCPL via customercare@nccpl.com.pk, with the subject line specifying "Book Building Auction," along with submission of margins as prescribed under the Public Offering Regulations, 2017.
Under NCCPL's Designated Time Schedule, margin money against bid amounts will be collected from July 31 through August 6 (9:00 AM–4:30 PM daily). Final collection from successful bidders is scheduled for August 7 (9:00 AM–12:00 PM), with refunds to unsuccessful bidders processed in the same window.
Any increase in bid amount during the bidding period will require a deposit of additional margin money by the existing bidder.
PSX said the procedural framework for the exercise, jointly issued by PSX and NCCPL and approved by the SECP, along with a dedicated user manual for the PSX Book Building System, are both available on the exchange's website.
