TPLI proposes rebranding to JazzSure Insurance

August 28, 2026 (MLN): TPL Insurance Limited (PSX: TPLI) has proposed changing the company's name to "JazzSure Insurance Limited," with the Board of Directors approving the resolution at a meeting held on Thursday, 27th August 2026.

The proposal, to be placed before the members for approval, includes a consequential amendment to the Memorandum and Articles of Association, substituting "TPL Insurance Limited" with "JazzSure Insurance Limited" wherever it appears, along with a corresponding change in the company's ticker/trading symbol on the Pakistan Stock Exchange from TPLI to that of the new name, or such other name as may be approved by the Exchange.

The changes remain subject to applicable corporate and regulatory approvals, including from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, and completion of necessary legal formalities.

The Board has also resolved to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the members on Friday, 2nd October 2026 at 11:00 a.m., to be held at Dr. Shamshad Akhtar Auditorium, Pakistan Stock Exchange, Admin Block, 6th Floor, Stock Exchange Building, Exchange Road, Karachi, and simultaneously through video-conference facility, to seek members' approval for the name change and amendments to the Articles and Memorandum of Association.

The notice of the EGM and related documents will be circulated in due course.

The Share Transfer Books of the company will remain closed from Friday, 25th September 2026 to Friday, 2nd October 2026 (both days inclusive) for determining the entitlement of members to attend and vote at the EGM. Share transfer requests received in order at the office of the company's Share Registrar at the close of business on Thursday, 24th September 2026, will be treated as in time for this purpose.
