August 12, 2026 (MLN): TPLTPL Life Insurance Limited (PSX: TPLL) has expanded its strategic partnership with Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (Mobilink Bank) through an agreement aimed at introducing Unit-Linked Takaful Plans and facilitating the conversion of existing insurance products into Shariah-compliant solutions.

Under the expanded collaboration, TPL Life will work with Mobilink Bank to offer Shariah-compliant, investment-linked protection solutions to the bank's customers.

The initiative is expected to broaden the range of financial protection products available through Mobilink Bank while providing customers with alternatives that align with Islamic financial principles.

A key component of the agreement is the introduction of Unit-Linked Takaful Plans, which combine protection with investment-linked features within a Shariah-compliant framework.

The partnership will also facilitate the conversion of existing insurance products into solutions designed to comply with Shariah principles.

TPL Life said the initiative is intended to enhance access to innovative insurance and Takaful products while supporting greater financial inclusion across Pakistan.

The expansion represents a further step in the companies' strategic collaboration, with Mobilink Bank's customer base providing a distribution platform for TPL Life's protection and Takaful offerings.

This partnership is particularly relevant to Pakistan's growing efforts to expand access to formal financial services and Shariah-compliant financial products.

The company emphasized that the initiative reflects its continued commitment to developing customer-focused insurance and Takaful solutions and increasing access to financial protection.

TPL Life further stated that it will continue to keep its shareholders informed of any material developments in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

The development was disclosed by TPL Life to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday.

The announcement did not disclose the financial value of the agreement, the expected number of customers to be covered, or a specific timeline for the launch of the new Unit-Linked Takaful Plans.
