THCCL completes second profit, principal payment on Sukuk certificates

October 14, 2026 (MLN): Thatta Cement Company Limited (PSX:
THCCL) has completed the second profit and principal payment on its Sukuk
certificates, with all entitled Sukuk holders credited.
The company said the payment was
processed in line with the terms and conditions of the Sukuk issuance.
The company also asked the exchange to
inform TRE Certificate Holders accordingly.
The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
Company background
Thatta Cement was incorporated in 1980 as a public limited company and began as a wholly owned subsidiary of the State Cement Corporation of Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited. Its manufacturing facility went into commercial operation in 1982.
The plant uses dry process technology and has an installed clinker capacity of 1,000 tons per day. The equipment was supplied by Japan’s Mitsubishi Corporation.
The government exited the company in 2004, selling its shareholding through the Privatization Commission. The company was listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange, now the Pakistan Stock Exchange, in 2008, and its shares trade under the symbol THCCL.
